Ingrown hair is a common occurrence for most people, and keeping your skin well moisturised and maintained is key to helping resolve the issue. Contrary to popular belief, frequent exfoliation is counter-productive to sustaining optimal skin.
We recommend manual exfoliation no more than once a month as waxing in itself helps to remove dead skin cells. Over-exfoliated skin leads to an increase in ingrown hair, as well as dry skin due to irritation of the moisture barrier.
